Features SI Systems provides for the storage and retrieval of any computer document - MS WORD documents, spreadsheets, before and after photos, engineering drawings, and scanned images, to list a few common formats. These stored documents may be automatically generated and stored by system processes such as invoicing customers, creating POs for vendors, or creating SOs for service and inspections, and by the SI Mobile application. Documents from "outside", such as vendor invoices and packing lists, may be scanned and attached readily, in a manner similar to attaching documents to emails. Once documents are attached by any means, they are automatically related and accessible from any view of data that references the item to which they are attached. For example, any documents attached to a service order, such as the signed SO, inspection reports, before and after photos etc, are automatically related to and visible from the service order itself, the customer work site of the service order, from the bill-to customer of the service order etc. Once a document is located, it may be viewed, printed, or emailed directly from the system. Access to these documents and other records may also be allowed to the customer of the service order through a browser, as a "value-added" service for select customers.
