Dear Bill,
We are actually working on our new system, on our own, for two days into this new week. We've called a few times over these two days, but we are making more progress than we had ever thought we would. We're grateful that, as usual, you respond promptly and immediately are able to grasp what the problem is and guide us to an understandable resolution.

So many factors contributed to our progress. First, was the time your technical group spent talking with us by phone and then (once the server was on sight) through the system modem, in formulating how to impact the data from our two old DOS applications. This paid off very well. Chris and Alan were so helpful and informative in how to prepare other data we wanted imported; their suggestions proved invaluable in how to organize information and files, and "clean them up." We had so dreaded "hand-keying" in so much, but that turned out to be not the case. It would have been a dauntgin task; instead, we were freed up to spend time learning the system.

Your week spent on-site, instructing us on the system, as well as helping us fine-tune report formats and special applications and/or procedures, was also excellent. You endured our having to handle telephone calls and other business duty interruptions, while learning and using the system and getting it running. Your patience and quick perception when an obstacle was encountered only fortified our gratitude about choosing your software. The fact that this week of on-site training was included had been a major selling point; and, in reality that week was much more valuable than we had anticipated.

Thank goodness for your ability to make the needed data conversion and effciently instruct us, so that we could be up and running last week. Granted, we still have much to learn as we work in the systems; but, each day already we are so thankful that we decided to push our company president to spend the extra money to get your system, which is more attuned to how we conduct business than anything else we have looked into over the past year.

We certainly look forward to your help when we need it. Already, we have such a sense of relief that we have found an organization upon which our 70-year old company can depend to help us stay in business another 70 years.
